Lyceum English Medium School was founded by visionary power of Mr. Asit Kumar Roy, the Founder Secretary and Chairman on 14th February, 1994 with the aim of offering all round education.

Lyceum believes in the worship of education and so it provides a secular and holistic education irrespective of caste, creed, colour or race. The basic objective of the school is to turn out citizens- individuals who fulfill their own dreams and aspirations and also look after the interests of the society. Proper nurturing sees them grow into full bloom trees in the autumn of life. Lyceum is committed to protect and nourish those immense potentials. It is not just bookish knowledge that the school depends upon to educate its students .But it offers a scientific blend of traditional values and logical empowerment to sharpen their ability resulting in better academic performances, increased intelligence, increased creativity and improved social behavior leading to greater happiness in life.

Lyceum also strongly believes in service to mankind which is the greatest service to god. The school encourages community service and organizes other social works to inculcate the spirit of compassion, love and sacrifice and to build a strong binding between human beings.
