  • Punctuality is essential at all times or else children who contravene this rule without a valid excuse, will be penalised.
  • A child must be on time for Assembly. Students coming late shall not be allowed to enter the school premises for that particular day.
  • All students must have a minimum 80% attendance for promotion to the next class.
  • Candidates enrolled for the ICSE (10) Examination must have a minimum attendance of 75% of the total working days in classes IX & X to be eligible to appear in the examination.
  • Candidates enrolled for the ISC (12) Examination must have a minimum attendance of 75% of the total working days in class XI and Class XII. Only 15% concession is provided for cases where absence is unavoidable. The Chief Executive and Secretary on the recommendation of the Principal of the school can condone the shortage of attendance provided it is not less than 60% of the total working days in class XI as well as class XII. However, there is no provision whatsoever for candidates who have lower than 60% attendance.
  • Absentees, on rejoining school, must produce a letter from their parents or guardians explaining the cause of absence before the commencement of the class. Should a letter not be presented on the first day, the child will have to remain in the office for the day. He/She will continue to lose attendance until the necessary proof of absence is provided.
  • IMPORTANT : Medical certificates are necessary in case of sickness for over two days.
  • Children who are absent for more than one month are liable to have their names struck off from the School Register.
  • Normally all classes, will be held from Monday to Friday in a week, unless notified earlier. Special classes might be held on Saturday due to unavoidable reasons & unexpected holidays like Bandhas etc. to compensate and for some special / extra classes.
  • In case of any official emergency notification, the guardians will be intimated immediately through SMS.
  • Children, having some chronic disease, should be sent to the school after giving prior intimation of the symptoms as well as the process of medications of the disease to the school authority.
  • Children affected by infectious disease (such as chicken pox, mumps) or who are exposed to such disease in their homes, must complete the quarantine period before rejoining school. This should be indicated in the Medical Certificate.
  • Change of address, if any, should be intimated immediately through an application to the office.
  • Change of phone/mobile no’s should immediately be intimated to the school office by a written application.
  • Any damage / misuse / loss to the school property must be remedied at the cost of the person responsible for the damage.
